The Katadyn Hiker Pro is a high performance version of their Hiker water filter. The Hiker Pro has 30% more cleaning capacity and has quick connect fittings.
The quick connect fittings allow direct connection to hydration reservoirs with 1/4" drink tubes (Camelbak), and easy installation and removal of input and output hoses.
The Hiker Pro is the proven lightweight favorite water filter. It removes Bacteria, Giardia and Cryptosporidium through a .3 micron pleated glassfiber and activated carbon filter.
Unlike many filters the Hiker Pro has a reliable anticlog microfilter capable of filtering up to 300 gallons depending upon water quality. Pre-filter at hose inlet filters to 150 microns, removing larger contaminants before they reach the main filter increase life span.
Output is approximately 1 liter per minute with 48 easy strokes. Ergonomic handle makes use comfortable. Includes filter protector, quick connect fittings, hydration connector, prefilter, universal bottle adaptor and carry bag.
Ideal for backpacking, hiking, travel and any time water quality is questionable.
