The Marmot Essence Pant is the lightest fully taped waterproof/breathable pants available. Stripped of everything but the essentials.
The Essence uses superlight 12-denier 2.5 layer MemBrain® Strata™ fabric for 20,000mm waterproof rating, and 20,0000mm breathability rating. MemBrain® Strata fabric is lightweight, durable and comfortable. Seams are micro-stitched and 100% seam taped for maximum waterproof protection.
12 inch ankle zippers allow easy on and off over shoes. Articulated knees improve mobility. Elastic waist with drawcord increases comfort and adjusts for a custom fit. Zippered back pocket provides secure storage of small items.
