The secret to its warmth is the phenomenal wind shedding ability of the 30-denier Ballistic® nylon shell and generous amounts of 800 fill power goose down. By blocking a high amount of wind you are able to conserve the heat your body naturally produces.
Hand warmer pockets and micro-fleece lined collar increases comfort. Full front zipper makes venting easy. Elastic cuffs seal out drafts. Internal pocket provides a place to keep items warm. Single quilt construction reduces weight. Stuff sack included.

Ballistic™ nylon is one and a half times more abrasion resistant than other similar weight fabrics and boasts three times the tear strength of nylons that are almost 20% heavier. Because of this, Ballistic™ nylons have allowed Montbell to reduce the weight of many of their products by more than 50% without sacrificing durability. This strength comes from the manufacturing process where the nylon is repeatedly heated and stretched to align the molecules, much like the tensilizing of steel, resulting in an extremely durable, light weight, wind and water resistant fabric.
